Summary: Owned the development and organization of 30+ years of lore within the Heavy Gear universe for an upcoming open-world RPG, set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting.
Lore Organization ⋆ Character Writing ⋆ IP Development
Pre-Production
I led brainstorming sessions to kickoff the ideation of Heavy Gear. To prepare for the writers' room, I organized a database where the team collaborated and shared notes, observations and ideas to implement into the full game.
In addition to identifying the characters, locations and gears we will focus on my responsibilities oversee:

Scoping out tasks for the narrative and content teams.

Collaborating alongside IP partners and studio leadership

Developing a database housing all of the important information about Heavy Gear's world, characters, items, gears, factions and lore.

Foundations & Scope
Alongside the creative director and narrative director, I set up the foundations of our narrative production pipeline. My responsibilities include setting up the codex and lore database housing 31+ years of content from the Heavy Gear books.

IP Partnerships & Community Building
Established a regular cadence to include our IP partners in the development of content for Heavy Gear. Our team runs regular Community Chats where we take note of player expectations, while sharing sneak peaks of concept art.
