From eSports, to game journalism and finally the games industry--I've had the pleasure of working across multiple industries and disciplines. My focus for the past seven years has been in game writing, game design and production. 

I have been brought onboard as a writer during the concept stages, middle of production and even post-production from indie games to AAA projects.

 

Thanks to my academic background and proficiency in research, I'm skilled at setting up information systems and ways to maintain documentation to ensure teams are aligned and up to date at all stages of production.

2025-2026

Deviant Games

Narrative Designer & Writer

  • Organized narrative documentation for the company's first commercial multiplayer AA title in Unreal Engine 5. 

  • Created character sheets, worldbuilding documents and transmedia content. 

  • Edited and revised copy for scripts, marketing material and development documents to ensure quality. 

  • Built content pipelines to ensure timely delivery of narrative elements, scripts, edits and feedback.

2023-2025

Small Loan Studio

Narrative Designer & Producer

  • Wore multiple hats across narrative, production and marketing where I implemented Agile methodology into the development pipeline, and structured writer’s rooms with clear objectives on Santa’s Secret. 

  • Scoped content for four projects, delivering milestones for MVPs in a timely manner. 

  • Created storylines and branching narratives for The Ouroboros Express using Ren’Py, a romance dating sim. 

  • Made levels, puzzles and design pipelines during The Tun-Gast of Oakshaw’s production.

2022-2023

Firaxis Games

Narrative Designer & Writer

  • Wrote, edited and implemented hundreds of stories highlighting Latin American societies using proprietary technology. 

  • Built voice, tone and cadence of Civilization VII’s storylet system. 

  • Collaborated with QA and sound designers to implement feedback, and enhance the player experience during story moments.

University of Baltimore

Adjunct Faculty & Board Member

  • Specialized in teaching game and instructional design subjects in 300 and 400 level classes including content present in industry-standard pipelines.   

  • Implemented hands-on workshops, increasing engagement from the student body significantly during class. 

  • Created a body of resources, housing documentation tailored to the interest of each student to learn more beyond the curriculum. 

  • Volunteered to chaperone students to the region’s first games industry conference, facilitating networking and supporting the career opportunities for class attendees

2024

Montclair State University & UCLA

Guest Lecturer

  • Designed unique workshops for college students in both institutions, after being invited as a guest lecturer.

  • Focused on introducing narrative design, and introduced applications outside of the games industry, while increasing student participation and engagement significantly. 

  • Developed exclusive educational content, presentations, activities and hands-on workshops that were well-received by professors and students alike.

2022-2023

Harrisburg University of Science & Technology

Instructional Designer & Master's Student

  • Completed all but one semester of a Master’s program, became proficient with Articulate360 and Rise360. 

  • Developed flowcharts, trainings, onboarding, and educational content for commercial clients via programs hosted in the university. 

  • Specialized in gamification, instructional design and first-time user experience creation as a developer

2019-2022

Ringling College of Art & Design

Teaching Assistant & Writing Tutor

  • Improved the English fluency of the student body through activities, evaluations and tutoring sessions in both conversations and writing.

  • Supported college professors as an assistant, answering doubts and questions students had in addition to organizing the classroom and preparing material.

  • Taught students during the summer programs about tools such as Twine,. and subjects including creative writing, figure drawing, narrative design, interactive storytelling, game design and flowcharting.
